ABOUT VINCENT LUMBER COMPANY
50 years of experience, 50 years of trust.
Originally starting as a lumber yard and sawmill in the mid-1930’s, the now Vincent Lumber Co. was located at 34 Station Street in Shinnston operating as A.L. Vincent & Son. In 1963, A.L. Vincent & Son was moved to 347 South Pike Street following construction of a new building for the company, along with a name change to Vincent Lumber, Inc. Bob Vincent ran the company successfully for many years until the early 1990’s when Bob’s daughter and his son-in-law, Louis “Louie” and Diane Smith took over operations. The Smith’s continued the family business until it’s sale in August 2018 to current owner Jeffrey Chalfant.
